This is a great test kit for testing oil on the go!
This kit can be purchased in either an (8) pack or (6) pack of vials that are pre-measured
to turn yellow when the oil titrates higher than 5 on a
KOH Titration Scale (roughly 3% FFA).
This means if it passes, with a base of 7, your oil would require 12 or less grams per liter of KOH.
We realize that everyone's production equipment is different so the kit includes instructions for testing
for different ranges of titration. Anywhere from 0 clear up to 10+. This means that you can quickly ascertain
whether or not oil you're looking to use to make Biodiesel with will meet your needs. The kit doesn't replace
doing a full titration, but will give you a good indication of the range of titration that a particular
sample of oil will be within.
