With a variable speed of 100 to 1,000 RPM, it's ideally suited to all your small chemical stirring needs.
It's compact & lightweight, which means it'll fit in your lab perfectly.
The stirrer is electronically controlled to deliver consistent stirring speeds and utilizes an internal Speedsafe mechanism
that ensures that the stirring motors maximum speed is never exceeded if the sample is removed without turning off the unit.
Operation is extremely quiet and efficient to ensure thorough mixing.
Made from a durable ABS plastic with a 316 stainless steel cover, the base will easily handle the harmful effects of any chemicals that are accidentially
spilled on it. Operating temperatures are between 0° to 50° C (32° to 122° F) with a maximum relative humidity
of 95%. The stainless steel base can also handle stirring chemical solutions that create exothermic reactions (heat generating)
with great ease.
From the moment we took this stirrer out of the box, we were extremely impressed with it! It has all the features of our
standard Hanna Magnetic Stirrer plus the great looking and functional 316 stainless steel
base cover. It's ideal for stirring titrations, mixing titration solutions,
performing soap tests,
Biodiesel conversion testing,
Acid/Base Mini Batches, or any other small stirring
need you may have. Stirring capacity is rated at 1 liter so it'll easily do small liter batches of Biodiesel.
