The Spray Nozzle Is The Secret To It's Success!
While we've seen several heat & circulate systems out there, the spray pattern
from our
Dry Pro nozzle is flat out
amazing!
Instead of creating a mist out of the oil (which would end up everywhere but in the drum),
our Dry Pro nozzle generates a fine film of heated oil
that sprays across the whole drum.
The large surface area generated by the spray pattern from the nozzle allows the
water to quickly evaporate leaving the oil nice and dry.
This unique spray pattern allows you to get the maximum surface area for water to evaporate
out of while keeping the oil where it belongs; in the drum!
Add a simple household fan blowing across the top of the drum and the water will evaporate even faster!
This is because the air flowing across the top of the drum literally sucks the evaporated
water vapor out of the drum and wisks it away.

Recommended Maximum Water Limits:
The lower you can get the water content in the oil, the less soap it will be prone to making.
Water in the finished Biodiesel can also cause havoc on fuel tanks, fuel pumps, fuel filters, injectors & diesel engines.
Here's our recommended maximum water levels:
Waste Vegetable Oil: - No higher than 3,000 PPM ( 0.3%)
Biodiesel: - No higher than 500 PPM (0.05%) (ASTM D2709)
Easy To Use Transfer System!
While it's great to be able to dry the oil, we've added a great transfer system to the kit that makes
it really easy to transfer all of the dewatered oil or Biodiesel right out of the drum!
Just attach the transfer tubing to the quick connect fitting on the drum, put the other end in the container
of your choice, open the ball valve, turn on the pump and watch the dewatered oil or Biodiesel pump
through the clear tubing! Then, once you're done, you can attach the included quick connect caps onto the transfer
tubing to keep everything nice & clean!

The Complete Drying Tank Kit
While we've sold the Dry Pro nozzle for several years, we're now pleased
to offer a complete kit for building your very own drying tank from a 55 gallon steel drum! The kit includes
all of the plumbing required to build the circulating system including a transfer pump, black steel pipe, ball
valves, the Dry Pro nozzle, a heavy duty 1200 watt band heater, and some tubing and quick connect fittings
to empty the drum using the same pump once your oil is dry!
Easy To Assemble
The kit is really easy to put together! Drill a hole in the bottom of your drum.
Weld a 1" Close fitting to the drum. Screw on the pump, attach the transfer pipe, mark & drill the upper hole,
attach the rest of the plumbing, tighten everything down, connect the band heater, and you're ready to go!
In just a couple of hours, you can have a ready to use dewatering tank to get your oil or Biodiesel as dry
as possible in record time!

Instructions For Using The Tank:
1- Fill the tank up about 2/3rds of the way
2- Turn on the heater and bring the oil temperature up to at least 100° F
- The hotter you can get the oil, the faster it will dry
- CAUTION: If temp gets above 212°, the water can boil causing splatters.
3- Turn on the pump and start circulating the oil
4- If possible, blow a fan across the top of the open drum. This can help to speed up the process
5- Pull a sample from the oil periodically and test the water content
6- When it's dry, turn off the heat, connect the hose, open the ball valve, and transfer the oil to another container
