Description:
This is the newest BioPro from AGR Energy. Based on the popular BioPro 190, this machine is smaller in size and operates slightly differently. By reducing the size and modifying a few components on this processor, AGR was able to reduce the cost and bring you a great processor at a great price!

Key differences from the BioPro 190 include a smaller tank (40 gallons), a more manual wash cycle, and a simplified head unit. While the machine is smaller it's still a BioPro and still comes packed with all the great features you've come to expect in the BioPro line of Biodiesel Processors.

With the push of a button, Biodiesel can now be easily made inexpensively in a stainless steel automated processor!

Just like the BioPro 190, you simply add oil, catalyst, methanol and sulfuric acid into the machine, press the start button and walk away!

And, just like the BioPro 190, there's no transferring of oil from one place to another, no adjusting levers and valves to make sure things are added just right, no monitoring the process at all. You just put it, press start and carry on with your life.

24 hours later you come back, drain off the glycerin, and press the wash button and let it go to town washing the biodiesel. After each wash, you then manually drain off the wash water and start the next cycle. After 3 washes, you move it into the dry cycle and it takes care of the rest making crystal clear, extremely clean Biodiesel fuel.

The BioPro 150, like the BioPro 190, is made from high-quality 304 Stainless Steel and has been designed for minimal operator involvement. It has a patented logic controller that monitors everything with full built-in monitoring and fault protection. And, for those of you wanting to manually produce your biodiesel it comes with all the switches and manual overrides needed (just in case you REALLY want to be involved in the process).

Using The Machine
  1. There is only one tank for adding chemicals.
  2. First the methanol is added up to the fill level.
  3. Then the user pushes the start button, adds the sulfuric acid (150 ml), and waits about 5 minutes for those chemicals to drain and mix with the oil.
  4. Then the catalyst (KOH or NaOH) and more methanol is added to the same tank, and the user is then free until returning 24 hours later to drain the glycerin.
  5. During the water wash, the waste water is drained off manually after each of the three washes (instead of this happening automatically).

The machine also has a bracket for mounting a fuel pump, but the pump is not included with the machine. It can be purchased when the machine is ordered for an additional fee or later for a little more.

Something extra special about this machine is it's ability to produce Biodiesel using something called the 80/20 method. This allows you to use the machine to create incredibly pure Biodiesel; in fact, if your feedstock is fairly good, the biodiesel made in the BioPro 150 in most cases can pass the ASTM test allowing you to qualify for the first step to sell the fuel.

The units are custom made and built with extreme care and precision. Everything is built to be biodiesel compatible from the start so you know everything will work right out of the shipping crate.
